How to add time

Frequently asked questions
How do you add hours and minutes together?
Add each unit separately, then carry any overflow. For example 1 h 50 min plus 0 h 20 min is 2 h 10 min, because 70 minutes carries one hour. The calculator handles the carrying for you.
Can I add more than two times?
Add the first two, then type the running total into Time A and add the next duration into Time B. Repeat for as many durations as you need.
Does it support seconds and milliseconds?
Yes. Every field — hours, minutes, seconds and milliseconds — is summed, and 1000 ms carries into one second automatically.
