How to add or subtract from a date

Pick a start date, choose Add or Subtract, then enter how many years, months, weeks and days to shift by. The calculator applies years and months first (landing on a real calendar date), then adds or removes the weeks and days.

Use it to answer questions like “what date is 90 days from now?” or “6 weeks before the deadline.”

Frequently asked questions

How do I add days to a date?

Pick the start date, keep the mode on “Add,” and type the number of days. The resulting date appears instantly, with weeks and months also applied if you enter them.

What happens with month-end dates?

Months are added on the calendar, so January 31 plus one month lands on the last valid day of February. The result is always a real date.

Can I subtract instead?

Yes — switch the toggle to “Subtract” to move backwards from the start date.
